st_racer167 asked:

I have a friend that wants to go to school for photography but also wants to take classes on african american literature or along those lines, because she is in love with the South African Culture, and she had asked once if there was anything like that in Pittsburgh, so please dont feel limited to the school I mentioned, but I think she’s looking for somthing thats not you every day local college like VCU kinda would be for Richmond ( the area we live in).

The Art Institute is a trade school, not a liberal arts school.

Your best bet in Pittsburgh is the University of Pittsburgh. They’re one of the largest schools in the nation and would be likely to have classes in anything you could imagine.
